Google TV Update: NFL Sunday Ticket More free TV channels

Google TV Update is set to unveil an exciting home screen update that includes seamless integration with NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube, alongside a significant expansion of content within its collection of free TV channels.

Earlier this year, Google revealed its plans to incorporate free streaming channels into the Google TV home screen, a feature subsequently extended to Android TV. These channels encompass offerings from third-party providers as well as a curated selection from Google.

Starting today, Google is introducing an additional 25 channels to its existing list, bringing the total count of channels to over 100. Among the latest additions are channels streaming popular content such as Top Gear, Antiques Roadshow, and Baywatch.

With this update, we proudly introduce more than 25 new channels to Google TV’s channel lineup, all readily accessible without the need for separate app downloads or sign-ins. This elevates the total count to over 100 pre-installed channels, encompassing a diverse array of hit TV shows including Top Gear and Baywatch, captivating game shows, dynamic music channels, culturally enriched entertainment, and more.

In an exciting development, the Google TV home screen now seamlessly integrates with NFL Sunday Ticket. Subscribers will be presented with “top highlights” and personalized game recommendations directly on the home screen. Moreover, YouTube TV users can conveniently access Sunday Ticket games through the dedicated “Live” tab.

The eagerly anticipated NFL Sunday Ticket experience is set to launch on YouTube Primetime Channels and YouTube TV this coming September, with exclusive discounts currently available for the upcoming season. Notably, a special TCL promotion offers a $200 discount on Sunday Ticket with the purchase of a new Google TV set.
