Real Madrid won their penultimate game of the La Liga season against Sevilla with a come-from-behind victory thanks to two goals scored by Rodrygo.
After Bryan Gil’s effort was blocked, Sevilla took the lead thanks to a goal scored by Rafa Mir.
Rodrygo scored a wonderful goal all by himself for Real, who are currently in second place. His first goal came from a free kick that he took and placed into the bottom corner of the goal.
After Marcos Acuna was awarded the red card for the fourth time this season, this time for a reckless lunge on Dani Ceballos, Sevilla finished the game with only 10 players on the field.
If Sevilla loses to Roma in the Europa League final on Wednesday, they will have to prepare for their first season since 2012-13 in which they will not participate in European football. Sevilla is now ranked 10th in the table.
In spite of the fact that both Karim Benzema and Vinicius Jr. were injured, Real Madrid was able to win the Copa del Rey, the Fifa Club World Cup, and the Uefa Super Cup this season.
