Microsoft launches OpenAI-powered “Bing Image Creator”

Bing Image Creator is available in Microsoft Edge from the Image Creator icon in the sidebar for English-speaking desktop and mobile users worldwide. Bing preview users can also use it in Bing chat.

Microsoft’s new Bing and Edge preview has “Bing Image Creator,” which uses an enhanced version of Open AI’s DALL-E model to let people generate images by describing them.

The trial version of Edge will also integrate Image Creator from the new Bing button in chat mode.

Image Creator creates images from your imagination by typing in a description, adding circumstances like place or activity, and picking an art style. Your artistic copilot. “Just type ‘draw an image’ or ‘create an image’ as a prompt in chat to get creating a visual for a newsletter to friends or as inspiration for redecorating your living room,” Microsoft wrote in a blog post.

Bing’s new picture generator, Visual Stories, and Knowledge Cards 2.0 are also coming.

The business added, “To support the growing demand for more visual search experiences, we are also making Stories and Knowledge Cards 2.0 available to all Bing users.”

Knowledge Cards 2.0 is an AI-powered infographic with fun facts and critical information.
It now contains interactive, dynamic material including charts, graphs, timelines, visual storytelling, and more, according to the business.
